Tatto Design: Large Back Piece

This one is a tattoo design that is supposed to go on the back (possibly the entire back) and needs to have all the elements woven into a whole that looks like they are all part of the same tapestry rather then just thrown together. Even though I'll be doing it in parts, the end result must look like they belong.

Main Elements:

Flying Eagle
A ship with sails
A flowing bar of music (will be Evenescence)
And a motion of waves

These are the roughs of what I have so far:

I am NOT happy with the Eagle element as of yet. Still working out ideas for it. The image on the right was the original idea...the image on the left, is the stuff that I'm actually happy with.

Some of the other items in this rough are lesser elements that have been struck so that the main elements can be concentrated on.

THe individual elements we did keep:

The music piece is the song "Bring me to life". The eagle is straightened here to conserve space as an image and on the page.

Adjustments to the ship design and placement were asked for:

This piece is intended as a tattoo on the back. When it's done, I plan on putting the image here. A finalized piece.
