Commissions from OGC (Open Gaming Convention) 2006

This was a new con for me. And a new type of con as well. There really wasn't a lot of traffic for artists. I did three real commissions and a pirate badge sticker. I sold a bunch of stuff to about three people (most people didn't come in, those that did, most didn't buy, but of those who bought, they usually were extravagant - thank god!) And I got offers on two possible long term commissions.

Of course, still waiting to hear from them, but ah well...

1. For the lady who was running the Artists Cove this year - a double sided badge. A character from one of her games on one side and a pirate theme on the other since the con was pirate themed this year.

Sadly, something went wrong upon scanning, and i didn't notice it - see the weird stretching and skewing of the pictures?

2. Again, this was someones character. He wanted a cool action pose...I think that the one I originally drew was better, but he wanted soemthing different and he liked this. *shrug* The customer knows what he wants, doesn't he?

3. This one was fun to do - yet another character, but I loved playing with her staff. When I was done, she looked at the spiral staff and said, "That's not what I had in mind." "Oops," I think to myself "I think I'm going to have to change the staff she carries cause this is cool!" paraphrased of course, but you get the idea
