Back to Talonsreach - this is another set of characters from the story. Ikimi and Navrie on their wedding day. This is still a work in progress. The sketch on blue paper was done when I was struck by inspiration, but had absolutly no access to the character descrips. You know, hair lengths, clothing types, etc.
Still in process, the 'couple' is finished, as well as the'background' for them. Next, this piece needs to be colored in. When it comes time to do the coloring in, I plan on doing an experiment on the computer. Why is it always Taggs stuff that makes me want to experiment with stuff I've never tried before? Well, the last one came out well, we'll see how this one does.
Part of the experiment, I was trying to turn all the black inks into browns, so this picture will be done entirely in browns and golds and creams....The funny part was, I succeded - on accident. I learn new things with photoshop all the time!
And just for fun, I took the descrip of Ikimi's bracelet and designed it out, so I would know how exactly to draw the 'fragment' of bracelet seen in the picture. It's just a rough sketch, scanned in and the appropriate colors kinda just thrown on, so the proper idea can be made. This isn't actually a finished piece,just an aide to another finished piece.
