JTs' Surprise

I honestly don't have a title for this one, but I really do like how the potential behind this picture blossomed out.

This is the preliminary piece. As you can see there were some obvious errors proportion wise that I resolved to fix, and an awkwardness in the mans hands (I didn't know what to do with them). But thats what a Preliminary piece is for: first getting an idea, then working out the bugs.

YOu can see I've resolved the bit of problem of not knowing what to do with his hands. I've also made her head and hands smaller so that they were not abnormally large compared to the rest of her body, and I evened out the discrepency between HIS two hands...

When I finished the picture (may 16th) I thought that perhaps the chin shadow on the girl was a tad strong, but other than that, I really liked this picture...
