Dragon Press Graphics at Otakon 2002 Otakon 2002:

I greatly enjoyed this years Otakon, though I only left the Artist Alley once.

Highlights for the Con:

1. Mystery Anime Theater - This was a DOOOZY this year. I've never missed a year yet, but I almost wish I had this year. The movie they picked was so perfect...I was saying "Dear GOD! When does it END????" The commercials were awesome (BIG O to the MIB2 Preview! and Aquaman dancing in front of the NERV logo...) but the movie itself, which I think was called Attack of the Super Monsters was HALF anime and half something else - either some kind of puppetry or guys in rubber suits, I couldn't really tell you...

2. The Trigun guy was there! DUDE! I wish I could have got his autograph!

3. Discovered the Light Rail which brings you quickly and cheaply from the airport directly to the Con center

4. Too many Yunas.....including me.

5. I believe Otakon used the ENTIRE convention center this year. I do believe it has grown, yet again.

6. I managed to take a camera and a half full of pictures. I may have to split this into sections. But now, on to the Pictures!

First: My apartment was so happy that we'd found an entire group of people that we could pull off together, that we didn't stop to think that it may have been too soon after the games release. However, though I may seem biased, I do think we did a good job:

This was a case of Too Many Yuna's but this one is me, and one who had a different reference to draw from, so bits of her costume (little details) were different

Surprisingly, the only Wakka seen. I wonder why?

My friend Samantha as Tidus, and roomate and artist Spam Ruskin as Auron

Here we have Auron 'macking' on Tidus....I bet some people like this idea. :)

My friend Jason as this girl....

NOW on to the OTHER pics I have. FFX is NOT the only thing I took Pics of.

Here are the First Inu - Yasha's that I have seen at any convention I've been at so far

Vash from Trigun is always popular....as well as Wolfwood!

Since I Do have a lot of pictures, I'm gonna break off here, and put up a second page:

and a third page.
