Dragon Press Graphics at Katsucon 2003
Katsucon 009:
This isn't my first Katsucon. My first was Katsucon 007, where I showed up just for Saturday and met Tristan McAvery (Voice Actor extra-ordinaire!) and John Barret (Golddigger: Edgegaurd) for the first time. Didn't get any pictures, so never put it up. But I made up for that lack of pictures this year!
I bought a table in Artist Alley ( Some of the Commissions I did) and pretty much stayed there the whole time, but people in costume like to browse too! So I still got a fair amount of pictures. I haven't developed them all yet, but here is what I have for now.
Some of the artists from Artist Alley - Damien from Novablade on the far left in gothic elf gear, and Kevin Gushue of Crazy Mad Elf on the far right - and I can't recall who he's supposed to be dressed as...
Since Katsucon got unexpectedly extended, some artists did a little extra! Like Robert DeJesus who made the 9.1 Survivor Badge (center right of course!) which you can order on his site! And my own addition (Center left) - a panel I drew for Spams "Pages of Crap"!
There were at least three links running around - all colors represented. I thought I had all their pictures but...guess not. I borrowed the Red Link (with Zelda) from Fansview (only cause I did take the picture and it didn't come out)
Fruits Basket was big this year (Big surprise there!) and there were at least three groups as well as LOTS of singles running around, here they are with a slightly out of Order lineup, but I believe you can figure it out! :)

This first picture, the costumes were cool, but when I got the pictures back, you couldn't see their faces, so I messed with photoshop, trying to 'lighten up' the faces to be seen, but...it still doesn't show up too well.
Also, a girl whose costume I had attempted to get front and back (lots of tattoos in the costume) but only this one showed up...
SpaceGhost!! A little bit of Nostalgia going back to my freshman year of college:
I have no idea who these guys are, but they created QUITE a stir!
On the recieving end of many a cheer, these Knights patrolled the corridors of the con!

Of course, there is always the dance on saturday night, no matter what anime con you go to, but I have it on good authority, that thus far, this one was the best. Sam and Efrain all dressed up for the dance and Pal Snack looking sad for missing a friend
