Dragon Press Graphics - Kame Haus Doujin Projekt Deadlines

DEADLINES!!!

The following is a transcribing of Matt "Spam" Ruszkowski's Livejournal Post, dated June 14th. As Doujin projects are finished and the next one started, the dates will be changed but the rest of this text will mostly stay the same unless he has something new to add.

Here are the deadlines that J-ko, Snack and I discussed last night. I admit it looks a bit daunting..but, I think you all can do it!

We have 2 deadlines for each "Phase" of the Projekt.

  • "Soft" lines:

These are not required but having something to show or even being complete by this point would be AWSOME. Being complete by a Soft-line would give the production crew some wiggle room to clear up any production issues and mishaps that may occur.

  • "Hard" Lines:

These CAN NOT be missed. If you can't make it, we go on. I nor any of the production staff will hold up the process for someone who's fallen behind. Your work will still be put in a later projekt but, you'll miss out on this one. I know this sounds harsh but, the last projekt fell apart because people slacked off and I got soft. So, I'm willing to stick to the rules myself I ask only that you all do as well.

NOW, DATES:
  • JUNE 19th: Deadline: SOFTLINE- Page count

I know this is fast but, just want to see where we are and how many pages everyone is planning

  • JUNE 30th: Deadline: HARDLINE - Rough pencils and layout.

    No Flexibility here.

  • JULY 15th: Deadline: HARDLINE - Finished Pencils

    • SOFTLINE - Beginning Inks.
  • JULY 24th: Deadline: HARDLINE - INKS.

This will be your finished submission.

  • JULY 29-30th: Deadline: Production Weekend.

This is where the magic happens folks! We'll be printing all weekend in prep for our Con debeut!!

WRITERS

I realize that this deadline thing kinda screws the writers out there...but,realize how hard it is to get artists to produce; so I'm kinda giving writers carte blanche to keep submitting scripts.

If you are supporting an artist You MUST have your finished script to your artist BEFORE THE FINISHED PENCILS DEADLINE. Other than that, submit anything you want, We'll find a place for it sooner or later or if you need the next theme just post or mail any of the editorial or production staff.

Lets go guys! Lets make this happen!!

If you have any questions or concerns please E-mail at kameprojekt@gmail.com or Post On this thread!

Lets get to work!!

DON'T FORGET!Check on the status of the entire project and some of the various submissions involved! This page details who is submitting what and how far along they are as well! Details involve things such as Page Counts, subject and characters involved.
